Advisory Board Member - Health Plan & Managed Care Executive
ABOUT ACCREDIMATCH Home and community-based services are central to how health plans manage cost and keep members safely at home. A plan’s network, however, is only as reliable as its agencies’ ability to staff the visits they accept. When a visit goes unstaffed, the member’s care breaks down and costs shift somewhere more expensive. AccrediMatch is a technology-enabled healthcare staffing platform that connects home health agencies and healthcare organizations with credential-verified nurses and care professionals. Identity, background, licensure, and required training are verified before a professional is matched. Matching, scheduling, payments, and communication are then automated so agencies can accept more referrals and deliver the visits members are authorized to receive. AccrediMatch is led by CEO Thomas Wheat, a healthcare operator on his third venture. Thomas founded Pediatric Home Healthcare and scaled it to $1.5 million in weekly revenue before selling to a strategic acquirer in 2024. He also served in a board role with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
