About brighthush – Pioneering Data Integrity for the Modern CRM Landscape

At brighthush, we are on a mission to transform how businesses manage and trust their customer data. In an era where artificial intelligence agents increasingly rely on clean, reliable CRM information to make decisions, the stakes have never been higher. Our platform empowers over 700 forward‑thinking organizations to move beyond one‑off data clean‑ups and toward a living, governed data layer that continuously enforces standards, detects drift, and fuels AI‑driven initiatives.

We combine three core pillars—Blueprints for defining “right,” Data Logic for automated enforcement, and Observability for real‑time insight—into a seamless SaaS solution that sits beneath the CRM and powers everything from lead scoring to automated outreach. As a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company, brighthush offers a vibrant, collaborative environment where innovation, customer obsession, and personal growth are celebrated daily.

Why This Role Matters

The Associate Customer Success Engineer is the bridge between brighthush’s cutting‑edge technology and the businesses that depend on it. You will own a portfolio of customers throughout their entire journey—onboarding, active adoption, renewal, and expansion—ensuring they not only clean their data but also embed a sustainable data integrity system that scales with their AI and CRM ambitions. Your strategic guidance will turn “just cleaning data” into “leveraging a governed data layer for competitive advantage.”

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Onboarding & Enablement: Lead hands‑on implementation sessions, configure Blueprint rules, and set up Data Logic workflows that align with each client’s unique data governance policies.
  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor, conducting deep‑dive health checks, identifying data drift, and recommending roadmap enhancements that tie directly to the client’s AI and CRM strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, operations, and engineering, establishing yourself as the go‑to expert on data integrity.
  • Renewal & Expansion: Proactively surface upsell and cross‑sell opportunities by demonstrating the ROI of brighthush’s governance layer, and collaborate with the sales team to close expansion deals.
  • Data Integrity Advocacy: Champion brighthush’s “agentic‑CRM” vision within each account, guiding customers from ad‑hoc clean‑ups to a systematic, automated data governance approach.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture product feedback, feature requests, and emerging market trends, and relay them to product and engineering teams to shape the next generation of brighthush solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Produce best‑practice guides, webinars, and case studies that illustrate successful data governance transformations.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex data integrity issues, leveraging your fluency with CRM platforms (including brighthush integrations) and data modeling concepts.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track key success metrics—time‑to‑value, adoption rates, renewal likelihood, and expansion revenue—and present insights to internal leadership.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in customer success, technical account management, or solutions engineering within a SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of enterprise customers, guiding them through onboarding, adoption, and renewal cycles.
  • Strong data fluency: comfortable working with CRM data structures, deduplication, standardization, and data quality metrics.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one major CRM platform (e.g., brighthush – formerly HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and an understanding of how data flows between systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of delivering compelling video presentations (Loom, Zoom, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset: ability to translate raw data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Self‑starter attitude with a collaborative spirit; comfortable working in a hybrid (remote + on‑site) environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data governance, master data management (MDM), or data quality tooling.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines that consume CRM data, and an understanding of the implications of data drift on model performance.
  • Certifications related to CRM platforms (e.g., brighthush Administrator, brighthush Consultant) or data management (e.g., DAMA‑CDMP).
  • Previous exposure to SaaS renewal and expansion processes, including quota‑carrying responsibilities.
