Chief Education Officer

Role Description The role is a full-time remote leadership position responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing key initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role includes leading cross-functional teams, making data-informed decisions, and monitoring performance metrics to drive efficiency and growth. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders, provide clear guidance, and establish processes that support effective planning, execution, and risk management. Daily activities involve reviewing project progress, resolving issues, mentoring team members, and communicating priorities and outcomes to senior leadership. The role also requires continuous assessment of market trends and internal capabilities to identify opportunities and support long-term strategy.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior or “chief” level role, including managing cross-functional teams and large initiatives. Strong strategic planning, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to guide priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including clear written and verbal communication across diverse, remote teams. Proven experience in project and program management, process optimization, and organizational change or transformation. Comfort with remote work technologies, digital collaboration tools, and leading distributed teams effectively. Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are beneficial.
