Chief Education Officer

Role Description The Chief Education Officeris a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining the overall educational vision and strategy of the organization. This role oversees curriculum development, instructional design standards, and assessment frameworks across all programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading education teams, setting learning outcomes, reviewing and approving curricula, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and external quality benchmarks. The Chief Education Officer collaborates with cross-functional teams such as product, operations, and customer support to ensure that educational offerings meet stakeholder needs. The role also involves mentoring educational staff, analyzing learning data, engaging with key partners and clients, and representing the organization in educational forums and strategic discussions.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Education and Educational Leadership, with experience overseeing academic or training programs. Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including designing, implementing, and evaluating learning pathways. Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to convey complex educational concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Commitment to high-quality Customer Service in educational contexts, ensuring positive learner and partner experiences. Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple initiatives, and lead distributed teams. Experience using data and learning analytics to inform educational strategy and continuous improvement. Advanced degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or a related field is highly beneficial. Familiarity with digital learning platforms, online or blended learning models, and contemporary pedagogical best practices.
