Chief Financial Officer

Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the organization’s financial health, and supporting long-term strategic planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgeting and forecasting processes, supervising preparation and analysis of financial statements, and overseeing cash flow and capital allocation. The CFO will lead financial reporting, implement and maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The role also involves partnering with executive leadership on business strategy, evaluating investments and major initiatives, and presenting clear financial insights to stakeholders. The CFO will manage finance team members, optimize financial systems and processes, and drive continuous improvement in financial performance and risk management.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial leadership. Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, analysis, and compliance with applicable standards. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, develop insights, and support data-driven decision-making. Proven experience in cash flow management, capital structure optimization, and risk management. Prior leadership experience directing finance teams and collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical financial practices. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred. Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities independently.
