Chief Operating Officer of a property fund

Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the property fund will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic management of the fund’s mobile home and related property assets. This is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and implementing operational frameworks, optimizing portfolio performance, and driving continuous improvement in processes and systems. The COO will collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, growth initiatives, and investment strategies, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. Daily activities include monitoring financial and operational metrics, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, managing budgets, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and returns. The role also involves leading cross-functional projects, developing standard operating procedures, and fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Business Planning and strategic thinking skills, with experience developing and executing growth and operational plans for property or investment-focused organizations. Candidates should possess solid Operations Management capabilities, including process optimization, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination in a remote environment. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret operational and financial data, generate insights, and support evidence-based decision-making. Candidates should possess Finance and Budgeting skills, including experience with financial modeling, cost control, and managing operating budgets for property funds or similar entities. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management experience, and effective communication skills across diverse stakeholders are strongly preferred. Comfort with remote collaboration tools and the ability to work independently while aligning with organizational goals is important.
