Chief Supply Chain Officer

Role Description The Chief Supply Chain Officer at LLC "WINE-HAL" is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. This full-time remote role oversees demand planning, forecasting, and distribution to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and high service levels. The role involves setting supply chain strategy, defining KPIs, and continuously improving processes, systems, and vendor performance. The Chief Supply Chain Officer collaborates closely with finance, operations, sales, and customer service teams to align supply chain activities with organizational goals. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing performance data, managing key supplier negotiations, addressing escalated operational issues, and guiding the supply chain team through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Supply Chain Management and Procurement skills to manage end-to-end operations, vendor selection, and contract negotiations. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, forecast demand, optimize inventory, and support strategic decision-making. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate across functions, lead teams, and report clearly to executive leadership. Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to support high service levels, manage escalations, and ensure reliable product delivery. Proven leadership experience in senior supply chain or operations roles, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, or consumer goods. Experience with supply chain software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and maintain accountability for results. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CPSM) are a plus.
