[Remote] Director of Marketing

The role leads marketing strategy and execution to drive direct bookings, build brand equity, and expand the company's reach across key markets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a $2 million+ annual advertising strategy
• Manage and monitor marketing budgets
• Evaluate promotion and barter opportunities
• Develop integrated marketing plans to support direct bookings and increase brand visibility
• Support third-party sales channels with brand-aligned creative and marketing collateral
• Maintain consistent messaging and visual branding across all touch-points
• Develop an ongoing public relations strategy
• Oversee influencer partnerships, media visits, and press initiatives
• Manage and coordinate creative and content for the company's website
• Review retail positioning using analytic tools and adjust strategies based on insights
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize tactics
• Conduct competitive benchmarking to maintain brand edge
• Manage creative and digital agencies, content creators, PR firms, and other external vendors
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, RevenueManagement, and on-property operations teams

Skills

• 8-10+ years in a senior marketing role, ideally in the resort, hospitality, or travel industry
• Strong digital marketing knowledge, including SEM, SEO, social, CRM, and web analytics
• Experience managing websites, creative content, and e-commerce performance
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
• Master's
