Company Description v/h is an early-stage company creating everyday consumer utilities: physical products with clear purposes and practical jobs to do. The team designs devices that solve common, recurring problems with minimal effort required from the owner. Each product is built around an embedded AI agent that handles complex tasks, while the person interacts through simple, intuitive controls and receives reliable outcomes. Core functions are designed to work locally, without the need for accounts, companion apps, internet connectivity, or subscriptions. Founded by Vedh Krishnan in 2026, v/h is based in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California and is currently developing its first product guided by principles of broad usefulness, dependable results, and everyday simplicity. Role Description The Co-Founder will play a central role in shaping v/h’s product strategy, business model, and go-to-market approach. Responsibilities include conducting market and user research, identifying and validating product opportunities, and helping define the roadmap for current and future devices. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with prospective customers, partners, and early adopters, as well as contributing to brand positioning and messaging. The Co-Founder will collaboratively make key decisions on pricing, distribution, and commercialization while helping set up foundational processes and metrics for the company. This is a remote contract role, requiring close collaboration with the founder and other contributors across time zones.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills and Research abilities to evaluate markets, user needs, and product opportunities. Excellent Communication skills for clear, concise writing, speaking, and stakeholder engagement. Sales skills to identify prospects, conduct discovery conversations, and support early customer acquisition. Marketing experience to shape positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. Comfort working in an early-stage environment with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited resources. Experience in consumer hardware, AI-driven products, or related technology fields is highly beneficial. Ability to collaborate remotely, make decisions with incomplete information, and take ownership of outcomes. Prior co-founder, startup, or product leadership experience is a plus but not required.
