Job Description
We are looking for a Databricks Lead with strong experience in data modeling, data engineering concepts, and business requirements gathering. This is primarily a business-facing technical leadership role requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders, offshore architects, and development teams to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather business requirements and lead discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs and data use cases. Translate business requirements into technical requirements, data models, and solution direction. Apply strong knowledge of Databricks, data engineering, and dimensional data modeling. Design and validate data models aligned with business requirements and reporting needs. Work closely with offshore architects and development teams to coordinate solution design, development, and delivery. Ensure technical solutions align with business objectives, data quality standards, and project requirements. Communicate technical concepts clearly to business and technical stakeholders. Required Skills Strong experience with Databricks and data modeling. Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data engineering concepts. Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience coordinating with offshore architects and development teams. Healthcare domain experience, preferably working with healthcare data and business use cases. Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates should have a combination of business-facing technical leadership, data modeling, and Databricks knowledge. This is not a pure Databricks developer or hands-on architect role; the primary focus is understanding business needs, guiding technical solutions, and coordinating delivery. Note: Candidates must be available to work in PST or MST time zones.
