Director of Corporate Strategy

Role Description The (Director of Corporate Strategy) is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the development, refinement, and execution of the company’s overall corporate strategy. This role oversees strategic planning cycles, including market and competitive analysis, long-term business planning, and the evaluation of new growth initiatives and corporate development opportunities. On a day-to-day basis, the director will translate strategic insights into clear recommendations, prepare executive-level presentations, and collaborate closely with finance, operations, product, and other teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators, leading cross-functional strategic projects, managing external consulting partners when needed, and supporting the executive team with scenario analysis and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, strategic modeling, and problem-solving capabilities. Proven experience in Business Planning and long-term strategic planning, including goal setting and roadmap development. Background in Corporate Development, such as evaluating partnerships, investments, or M&A opportunities. Solid Finance knowledge, including financial analysis, forecasting, and understanding of P&L and balance sheet dynamics. Experience in Consulting or advisory roles, with the ability to structure complex problems and deliver clear recommendations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and explain complex ideas clearly. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and working effectively in remote, distributed teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; graduate degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience is preferred. Fluency in both English and Chinese is beneficial, along with familiarity with regional and global market dynamics.
