Key Responsibilities

Own the operational excellence roadmap and a common improvement framework (tools, standard work, KPIs) across all eight plants. Lead kaizen workshops. Coach general managers, operational excellence coordinators, and site teams to own and sustain improvements locally. Build KPI dashboards that compare sites and track results. Train employees in lean and problem-solving methods.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field. 10+ years in manufacturing, including 5+ years leading continuous improvement across multiple sites. Proven results improving quality, delivery, and cost. Experience in custom packaging, metal fabrication, wood products, plastics, or similar high-mix manufacturing preferred. Ability to influence and coach General Managers without direct authority. Willingness to travel about two-thirds of the time. Location, Travel, and Work Environment This is a remote position, ideally based in Indiana, central to our eight facilities. Expect to travel about two-thirds of the time, including regular overnight stays, and to work on the production floor in standard PPE.

Compensation and Benefits
