Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Investment is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing the organization’s investment strategy across marketing, technology, and growth initiatives. This role oversees the evaluation of new investment opportunities, leads due diligence processes, and partners with internal stakeholders to assess financial viability and strategic fit. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, building financial models, developing investment theses, and preparing recommendations for executive leadership. The Vice President will manage an investment pipeline, negotiate terms with external partners as needed, and monitor portfolio performance to optimize returns and mitigate risk. This role also contributes to long-term planning, develops frameworks for capital allocation, and mentors team members involved in research, finance, and strategic analysis.
Qualifications
Strong background in Investment Management and Investments, with experience overseeing portfolios or strategic corporate investments. Advanced Finance skills, including financial modeling, valuation, capital allocation, and performance analysis. Demonstrated expertise in conducting comprehensive Due Diligence, including market, financial, and operational assessments. Proven ability to design and implement effective Investment Strategies aligned with organizational goals and risk tolerance. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience in a senior leadership role within investment, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or strategic finance. Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a track record of data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating across time zones and functions. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory leadership practices.
