In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including marketing, product, and field sales—to develop tailored business plans and execute targeted account strategies.
  • Leverage a multi‑channel digital toolkit (Veeva CRM, email, webinars, virtual events) to deliver personalized content and offers that resonate with each customer segment.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of brighthush’s product portfolio, enabling you to lead new product launches, training sessions, and brand initiatives.
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives, key performance indicators, and customer satisfaction metrics, ensuring territory success and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of each veterinary practice’s business model, challenges, and goals.
  • Conduct regular virtual or in‑person visits (as travel allows) to reinforce relationships and gather feedback.
  • Use Veeva CRM to track interactions, forecast opportunities, and maintain accurate data for reporting.

Strategic Account Planning

  • Partner with assigned sales districts to create detailed business plans that align with corporate objectives.
  • Identify high‑potential accounts and execute targeted campaigns to drive adoption of new products.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop localized content, case studies, and ROI calculators that support the sales conversation.

Digital & Inside Sales Excellence

  • Implement a customer‑value selling (CVS) methodology to articulate the tangible benefits of brighthush products.
  • Utilize digital tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, and virtual trade shows to engage prospects and close deals remotely.
  • Track sales metrics (quota attainment, pipeline velocity, win rates) and provide actionable insights to the sales leadership team.

Product & Market Expertise

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes that impact the companion animal market.
  • Lead product launch initiatives, including training webinars, product demos, and educational materials for veterinarians.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to product development teams to inform future innovations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven track record in inside sales or the animal health sector.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the companion animal market, customer segments, and product lines.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering creative customer solutions and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience with data‑driven sales analytics and forecasting.
