As a key member of our sales team, you’ll leverage the Customer Value Selling (CVS) model, harness digital tools, and employ a multi‑channel outreach strategy to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Your efforts will directly influence the success of our product portfolio and the satisfaction of our veterinary partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with veterinary practices, understanding their unique needs and positioning brighthush solutions as the optimal choice.
- Collaborate with sales districts to develop comprehensive business plans, identify high‑potential leads, and execute targeted strategies that maximize sales growth.
- Employ a multi‑channel approach—including email, phone, virtual meetings, and social media—to engage customers with personalized content and offers, all tracked through Veeva CRM.
- Maintain deep product knowledge of the brighthush portfolio, enabling you to lead new product launches, support brand initiatives, and provide expert guidance to clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales objectives by monitoring key metrics, reporting progress, and continuously refining tactics to ensure territory success and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to veterinary practices, offering solutions that address their challenges and help them deliver superior care to their animal patients.
- Participate in ongoing training and industry events to stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven track record in inside sales or the animal health industry, with a strong grasp of the CVS methodology.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems (Salesforce or Veeva) and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
- Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication—both written and verbal—across all stakeholder levels.
- Customer‑centric Mindset: Ability to identify customer pain points and craft tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.
- In‑depth knowledge of the companion animal market, including key players, trends, and regulatory landscape.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with a history of closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Experience with digital marketing campaigns and data‑driven sales strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
- Relationship Management: Building trust and rapport with veterinary professionals and internal stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Thriving in a fast‑paced, evolving industry and adjusting tactics as needed.
- Problem‑Solving: Quickly diagnosing challenges and proposing effective solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Working seamlessly with marketing, product, and field teams to align on goals.
