Role Overview

As a Web Developer & Customer Onboarding Specialist at brighthush, you will be the linchpin between our clients and the digital solutions they need. Your primary focus will be building and launching functional customer websites using AI‑assisted coding tools and our proprietary internal systems. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding customers across SMS and marketing campaign platforms, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to live deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Website Development: Build, test, and launch customer websites efficiently using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks, leveraging AI coding assistants to accelerate development cycles.
• Domain & Hosting Management: Purchase, configure, and set up domains; submit finished sites to our internal hosting platform; troubleshoot DNS, SSL, and performance issues.
• Platform Integration: Collect and enter customer data into campaign and communication platforms such as Twilio, Mailchimp, and similar services.
• Customer Communication: Engage with clients during onboarding, answer technical queries, and guide them through the setup process to get their accounts and websites live.
• Project Coordination: Manage multiple development and onboarding tasks simultaneously in a high‑volume, quick‑turnaround environment.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of websites across browsers, devices, and performance metrics; ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the development pipeline, propose process enhancements, and share best practices with the team.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven ability to build functional websites quickly using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar.
• Experience with custom domain management, hosting, and onboarding systems.
• Familiarity with Twilio, Mailchimp, or comparable marketing and communication platforms.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to commit to at least 40 hours per week.
• Portfolio of prior websites and/or willingness to complete a short skills assessment.
