Enterprise Customer Success Manager – Strategic Account Growth & AI‑Powered Finance Automation

🌍 Remote · Malaysia 💼 Full-time

Welcome to brighthush – Pioneering the Future of Finance Operations

At brighthush, we are on a mission to transform the way finance teams work. Our AI‑driven SaaS platform blends intelligent automation, real‑time risk detection, and a robust payments infrastructure to give businesses the confidence to move money faster, stay in control, and eliminate costly errors. Every year, billions of dollars are lost to fraud, manual mistakes, and inefficient processes. brighthush exists to solve those problems at scale, empowering finance leaders across the globe to focus on strategic growth rather than day‑to‑day firefighting.

We are experiencing rapid customer adoption, expanding across APAC, North America, and EMEA, and investing heavily in product innovation. This is a defining moment in our journey, and we are looking for a visionary Enterprise Customer Success Manager to help shape the next category leader in finance automation, control, and security.

Why This Role Matters

As brighthush scales, our enterprise customers become larger, more strategic, and increasingly critical to our long‑term success. While we already have a dedicated Enterprise Implementation team, we now need a seasoned professional to own the post‑go‑live relationship, ensuring that our biggest accounts achieve sustained value, expand their usage, and become vocal advocates for the brand. This is the first Enterprise Customer Success role at brighthush, giving you the unique opportunity to design the playbook, influence cross‑functional processes, and leave a lasting imprint on the organization.

Role Overview

This is a full‑time, remote position open to candidates across North America. You will manage a portfolio of high‑value accounts, act as a trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, and partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to drive revenue retention, expansion, and customer delight. Flexibility to attend early‑morning or evening calls with teams in APAC and EMEA is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for a curated portfolio of enterprise‑level customers, understanding their business objectives and aligning brighthush’s solutions to those goals.
  • Success Planning: Co‑create long‑term success roadmaps with each client, defining measurable outcomes, adoption milestones, and value metrics.
  • Revenue Retention & Expansion: Partner with the Sales organization to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, driving net revenue retention above industry benchmarks.
  • Churn Management: Proactively monitor health, usage, and sentiment signals; develop and execute save plans for at‑risk accounts; and feed churn insights back to Product, Support, and Sales.
  • Executive Business Reviews (EBRs): Design and deliver compelling EBRs that translate data into a clear narrative of ROI, risk mitigation, and future opportunities.
  • Escalation Leadership: Own end‑to‑end escalation processes, coordinating Engineering, Product, and Support to resolve issues swiftly while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Roadmap Advocacy: Track and communicate product roadmap commitments, ensuring interim fixes and feature requests are prioritized and delivered.
  • Usage & Health Monitoring: Conduct daily reviews of account health dashboards, usage trends, and support tickets to surface early warning signs.
  • Trend Analysis & Feedback Loop: Identify patterns across the enterprise customer base and share actionable insights with Product, Support, and Sales leadership.
  • Reference Development: Cultivate satisfied customers into public references, case studies, and speaking opportunities at industry events.
  • Mentorship & Documentation: Contribute to internal knowledge bases, best‑practice guides, and mentor junior Customer Success team members.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high‑growth start‑up or scale‑up environment, preferably within fintech, payments, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Proven track record managing high‑value accounts (>$100K ARR) in a Customer Success, Account Management, or related client‑facing role.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills with demonstrated executive presence and fluency at the C‑suite level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with measurable success in driving retention, expansion, and overall account profitability.
  • Data‑driven storytelling ability: translate usage metrics, health scores, and financial data into compelling value narratives for EBRs.
  • Project management expertise and experience orchestrating cross‑functional initiatives across Support, Product, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Self‑starter mindset: comfortable managing your own schedule, prioritizing tasks, and adapting to evolving role responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to de‑escalate challenging situations, own outcomes, and focus on solutions rather than blame.
  • Willingness to accommodate occasional early‑morning or evening calls to collaborate with global teams.

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) Qualifications

  • Background in ERP, accounts payable, or broader payments ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk, HubSpot, Jira, Slack, Confluence, Omni, or Claude.
  • Experience in consulting, onboarding, or delivery roles that required complex stakeholder coordination.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture, align technology solutions with business outcomes, and influence long‑term client roadmaps.
  • Communication Excellence: Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication tailored to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Analytical Insight: Proficiency with data analysis tools and dashboards to surface health trends and drive actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Strong partnership mindset, working fluidly with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment where processes are still being defined.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for client challenges and a relentless drive to exceed expectations.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

At brighthush, your career trajectory is limited only by your ambition. As the inaugural Enterprise Customer Success Manager, you will:
