Position Overview
As an Entry‑Level Customer Training Specialist, you will be the frontline ambassador of brighthush’s cutting‑edge solutions. Your role bridges the gap between sophisticated technology and the people who use it daily—dealership staff, managers, and executives. You will travel extensively (approximately 80% of the time), installing, configuring, and delivering hands‑on training that ensures each customer can fully leverage our platform. Your success will directly influence adoption rates, customer satisfaction scores, and ultimately the profitability of the dealerships we serve. If you thrive in a dynamic, travel‑heavy environment and love turning complex concepts into clear, actionable knowledge, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- On‑Site Implementation: Travel to dealership locations to install, configure, and optimize the brighthush software suite. Tailor settings to meet each dealership’s unique operational needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Customized Training Delivery: Design and conduct engaging, hands‑on training sessions for dealership personnel. Cover everything from basic navigation to advanced reporting, analytics, and workflow automation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with dealership management and key users to assess requirements, gather feedback, and align software capabilities with business objectives.
- Post‑Installation Support: Provide ongoing support via phone, email, and video conferencing. Troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and reinforce best practices to maintain high adoption levels.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installation progress, training attendance, and customer feedback. Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and use insights to refine future training modules.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in a structured 2‑3 month training program that blends classroom instruction, on‑the‑job shadowing, and mentorship. Deepen product knowledge and gain industry insight.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical support, and product teams to relay customer insights that inform future product enhancements and roadmap decisions.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
- Outgoing, friendly personality that builds rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the past three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the past five years).
- Reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Stable home internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing and remote collaboration.
- Basic technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new software tools rapidly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a customer‑facing role within the automotive or retail technology sector.
- Previous training or instructional experience, especially in a corporate or B2B environment.
- Knowledge of dealership operations, such as inventory management, service scheduling, or customer relationship management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
Skills & Competencies
- Presentation Skills: Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to varied learning styles.
- Problem‑Solving: Quick analytical thinking to troubleshoot installation or usage issues on the fly.
- Customer‑Centric Mindset: Passion for delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
- Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams, sharing insights, and supporting peers.
