Role Description The Executive Director of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across the company, ensuring projects and services are delivered efficiently and consistently. This role manages operational processes, sets performance metrics, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to support design, BIM, and client delivery workflows. The Executive Director will lead and develop operations staff, optimize resource allocation, and maintain operational budgets to support sustainable growth. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project pipelines, reviewing operational data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices in workflow management, customer service, and quality control. The role also collaborates closely with leadership to align operational strategy with business objectives and to maintain a high standard of client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management skills with experience in optimizing workflows, implementing processes, and overseeing service delivery. Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating performance data, managing KPIs, and making data-informed decisions. Proven Team Management capabilities, including leading remote teams, mentoring staff, and fostering a collaborative work culture. Experience with Budgeting and financial oversight, including resource planning and cost control in a project-driven environment. Commitment to high-quality Customer Service, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships in the AEC or related industries. Background in the AEC sector, digital design, or BIM services is highly beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
