Executive Vice President of Operations

Role Description The Executive Vice President of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational performance across the consortium’s mining, logistics, and infrastructure businesses. This role manages operational strategy, sets performance goals, and ensures alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing operations teams, reviewing key performance indicators, optimizing processes, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives with finance, commercial, and technical leaders. The Executive Vice President of Operations will lead P&L oversight for assigned business units, support customer service excellence, and drive continuous improvement programs. The role also involves managing major projects, monitoring risk, and reporting operational outcomes to the executive leadership and partners.

Qualifications

Strong Operations Management and process optimization skills, with experience leading complex, multi-site or global operations. Demonstrated P&L Management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. Customer Service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships and address issues effectively. Strategic Planning skills, including developing long-term operational roadmaps and aligning them with organizational goals. Project Management skills to lead large-scale initiatives, manage timelines and resources, and deliver results on schedule. Extensive senior leadership experience in operations, preferably in mining, logistics, infrastructure, or related industrial sectors. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach to performance management. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural, and cross-functional environment. Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
