  • Enjoy a flexible remote work arrangement based in Texas, with occasional travel to client sites.
  • Benefit from competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and continuous learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The Customer Success Technician’s day‑to‑day activities revolve around three core pillars: technical installation, instructor enablement, and customer relationship management.

1. Technical Installation & Validation

  • Unbox, assemble, and install a wide range of CTE/STEM equipment, including robotics kits, mechatronics modules, pneumatic systems, PLCs, and industrial pumps.
  • Conduct thorough functionality checks, troubleshoot issues, and perform calibration to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document every step of the installation process—hardware setup, wiring diagrams, test results, and compliance checks—to maintain a clear audit trail.
  • Verify adherence to safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and district regulations, ensuring every classroom meets or exceeds all requirements.

2. Instructor Orientation & Success Enablement

  • Deliver engaging, hands‑on training sessions for instructors and support staff, covering equipment operation, safety protocols, and instructional integration.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance that empowers educators to incorporate technology into their lesson plans.
  • Prepare labs and classrooms for instruction—arranging equipment, setting up power and network connections, and performing safety checks.
  • Ensure that all consumables, tools, and instructional materials are stocked and ready for use.

3. Service, Communication & Growth

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely, professional support and troubleshooting.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or product teams while maintaining clear communication with clients.
  • Identify opportunities for system upgrades, accessory additions, and service enhancements that add value for schools and districts.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive continuous product improvement.
  • Represent the brighthush brand with integrity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence in every interaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of explaining technical systems in plain language.
  • Solid technical aptitude with mechanical, electrical, and computer‑based systems.
  • Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation guides.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in lab and classroom environments.
  • Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel extensively across Texas (regional and national).
  • Professional presence in educational and training settings.

Preferred/Plus Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in automation, industrial maintenance, or robotics.
  • Technical training from military service or trade school.
