Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Management: Accurately enter data from a variety of sources—including PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, and scanned documents—into our secure, cloud‑based database systems.
  • Quality Assurance & Validation: Perform routine quality checks, spot‑check entries, and use automated scripts to detect anomalies, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, propose workflow enhancements, and collaborate with IT and analytics teams to streamline data pipelines.
  • Confidentiality & Compliance: Adhere to strict data privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA where applicable) and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with project managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of data entry activities, generate status reports, and provide insights on data quality trends.
  • Deadline‑Driven Execution: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets while ensuring high accuracy rates.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional data entry or data management experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in data analytics, information technology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with database tools (SQL, Airtable, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proven track record of maintaining 99%+ accuracy in high‑volume environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a bonus.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Experience with data validation tools, OCR technology, or data cleansing software is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the tech, finance, or healthcare sectors where data integrity is critical.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools (Zapier, Integromat).
  • Previous exposure to agile project management methodologies.
  • Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex data sets and identify patterns or errors.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating spreadsheets, databases, and data‑entry software.
