Position Overview

As a KFZ‑Mechatroniker/-mechaniker NFZ (m/w/d) at brighthush’s Mannheim Commercial Vehicle Center, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our Mercedes‑Benz commercial fleet. Your work will directly impact the reliability of our vehicles, ensuring that drivers can transport goods safely and efficiently across the globe. This full‑time role offers the flexibility of remote work from Mannheim or Wörth, while still providing the camaraderie and support of a close‑knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled inspections, fluid changes, and component replacements to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Diagnostic & Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Repair & Overhaul: Perform comprehensive repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other critical components, ensuring compliance with brighthush’s quality standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, log work orders, and communicate findings to the fleet management team.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow technicians, engineers, and logistics staff to coordinate repair schedules and minimize downtime.

Essential Qualifications

• Apprenticeship: Completed a recognized apprenticeship as a KFZ‑Mechatroniker or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience working on Mercedes‑Benz commercial vehicles, with a strong understanding of their mechanical and electronic systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as VDO, Bosch, or equivalent, and ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Driving License: Class C or CE preferred; ability to operate heavy‑vehicle equipment safely.
• Language: Fluent in German; English proficiency is a plus.
