Film Financing Executive

About the Role

Lima Films is seeking an experienced Film Financing Executive or Film Finance Consultant with a proven ability to secure funding for packaged feature film projects. The ideal candidate has established relationships with private investors, equity financiers, film funds, family offices, financial institutions, and other sources of film financing. Our projects are developed and packaged with the goal of moving into production. We are looking for a results-driven professional who can leverage their industry relationships and financial expertise to secure the capital needed to bring these projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, approach, and secure financing from private investors, equity partners, film funds, and other qualified funding sources. Develop and execute financing strategies tailored to each film's budget, cast attachments, and commercial potential. Leverage existing relationships with investors, financiers, production companies, and other industry stakeholders. Present packaged film projects to prospective financing partners and facilitate investment discussions. Structure financing arrangements, including equity investments, debt financing, gap financing, and other applicable funding options. Work with the production team to move projects from the packaging stage to fully financed productions. Assist with investor negotiations, deal structuring, and closing financing commitments.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience securing financing for independent feature films. An established network of film investors, equity financiers, private investment groups, or other relevant funding sources. A track record of successfully raising capital for film and entertainment projects. Strong understanding of film financing structures, investment terms, recoupment schedules, and revenue participation. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills. Ability to independently pursue financing opportunities and convert investor interest into closed deals.

Compensation

Compensation will be negotiated based on experience and the scope of engagement. A commission-based, success-fee, consulting, or hybrid arrangement may be considered, subject to applicable law and the agreed terms.
