Our slate spans romance, character-driven comedy, psychological drama, supernatural and paranormal mystery, investigative entertainment, documentary, animated comedy and AI-assisted digital media. We believe entertainment can be funny and deeply meaningful, suspenseful and emotionally resonant. Our stories explore human behavior, relationships and extraordinary circumstances while making audiences laugh, feel, question and reflect. We are seeking two or three resourceful, hands-on Associate Producers who want to help move original projects from development toward production. In our small, collaborative company, the work is varied and substantive. We need people who can organize creative materials, manage assignments, coordinate contributors and see deliverables through to completion—not simply attend meetings or provide suggestions. DESTINY WASN'T ENOUGH — Romantic Psychological Drama / Proposed Vertical Series A skeptical Los Angeles attorney receives an unusual gift suggesting he is destined to meet his soulmate. When he meets a beautiful Hollywood actress, an extraordinary romance follows—but finding love and sustaining it prove to be different challenges. Our slate also includes original character-driven and animated comedy concepts, vertical entertainment and emerging digital IP. WHAT YOU'LL DODepending on the project and authorized assignment, responsibilities may include: Coordinate development and preproduction schedules, tasks, milestones, communication and deliverables. Organize scripts, treatments, beat sheets, character bibles, research, pitch decks, creative references and production assets. Track revisions, approvals, deadlines and progress; proactively flag missing materials and practical obstacles. Work with Producers, writers, directors, editors, designers, animators, researchers and AI-production specialists. Help develop and coordinate sizzle reels, pitch presentations, proof-of-concept materials and production packages. Support original vertical series, including short-form scripted storytelling, episodic workflows and platform-specific deliverables. Identify qualified production resources, gather estimates and maintain accurate project records. Take responsibility for agreed workstreams, follow through independently, and deliver clear progress updates without constant supervision. ECP is deliberately lean. Responsibilities are broad, practical and collaborative. Associate Producers may be assigned to more than one project, with scope, deliverables and authorized services defined by the company's agreements and written Project Authorizations. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR At least two years of relevant professional experience in film, television, documentary, digital media, production coordination or comparable content production. Direct, hands-on experience advancing projects through development, preproduction, production coordination or delivery. Strong organizational skills, judgment, proactive communication and dependable follow-through. Ability to work remotely, manage multiple priorities and coordinate with creative collaborators. Willingness to contribute across different types of work in a growing independent production company. Appreciation for emotionally compelling, psychologically layered entertainment, including romance, comedy, mystery and imaginative original storytelling. Experience with vertical series, AI-assisted production, animation, documentary, or scripted development is welcome but not required. We value practical results and initiative over impressive titles alone. COMPENSATION & PRODUCTION OPPORTUNITYEmerald Cut Productions LLC is a growing independent production company currently in its pre-financing development stage. Compensation for authorized development services is negotiated and deferred, with no upfront cash payments currently available. Deferred fees are tracked and become payable as qualifying funds become legally and contractually available through project financing, sales, licensing, distribution, monetization, or other approved sources, according to the applicable agreement. Payments may be made in stages, and timing is not guaranteed. For qualified Associate Producers and Producers, additional compensation opportunities may include separately negotiated production fees, project-specific backend participation, and performance-based incentives tied to successful financing, distribution, licensing, or commercial monetization. These opportunities depend on the individual's role, responsibilities, contributions, and applicable project financing. No additional compensation or commercial outcome is guaranteed.
