Full Stack Develope

Role Description The part-time remote Full Stack Developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of Olympe se Bouge!’s digital platforms, including the website and related web applications. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end features, building and optimizing back-end services, ensuring responsive and accessible user interfaces, and integrating third-party tools for events, registrations, and communications. The role also involves collaborating with organizers to translate functional needs into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and improving performance, security, and scalability. The developer will document code, participate in testing, and propose enhancements that help grow the online community and increase engagement.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Front-End Development, including HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development using modern frameworks and APIs. Proficiency in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end solutions into cohesive applications. Ability to work with version control systems, debugging tools, and basic DevOps or deployment workflows. Experience with content management systems (CMS) or website builders is an advantage. Comfort working in a remote, part-time setting, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to inclusive, user-centered design and interest in social impact or community-focused initiatives. Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in computer science, web development, or related fields.
