GED Math Instructor

IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN EXPERIENCED MATH INSTRUCTOR wanted for a GED program. Applicant will have demonstrated skills and teaching experience in subject(s).* Must be able to provide creative assignments that will engage and stimulate learning. Have 3+ years teaching experience*, preferably adult learners. REQUIREMENTS: ·Excellent class management, strong interpersonal skills and committed to provide students with a first-class learning experience is essential. ·Able to efficiently work in a remote, synchronous classroom environment. ·Will use own technology: computer, printer, internet access, & scanner for the online class Experienced user of MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word ·This is a part-time (4 hours/week) teaching position ·Must be available to work the eve shift between the hours of 6pm -8pm Tue/Thu ·Candidate must reside in the metro Detroit (MI) area. ·Experienced in teaching adult learners is a must. ·Master’s degree and/ or teaching certification required.
