Head of Global Supply Chain Strategy
Role Description This full-time remote role for Head of Global Supply Chain Strategy is responsible for shaping, leading, and optimizing the end-to-end global supply chain. The position oversees strategic planning for supply chain networks, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics coordination, and risk management. Day-to-day activities include analyzing performance data, defining improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in operations, finance, procurement, and customer service to drive efficiency and resilience. The role leads global supply chain projects, sets standards and best practices, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This individual also mentors and guides regional supply chain leaders, manages key supplier and partner relationships, and communicates strategy and progress to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Supply Chain Management, including end-to-end process optimization, demand planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination. Candidates should possess solid Operations Management capabilities to improve processes, drive efficiency, and ensure alignment between supply chain, production, and business goals. Candidates should possess Procurement expertise, including strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost management. Candidates should possess Team Leadership skills to lead global, cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and support inclusive, high-performance work environments. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service orientation to ensure service-level performance, responsive issue resolution, and alignment of supply chain decisions with customer needs. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using data, KPIs, and dashboards to guide decisions. Experience with ERP and supply chain planning tools; familiarity with digital transformation and automation in supply chains is beneficial. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex strategies to senior leadership. Proven experience in senior, global supply chain or operations leadership roles within complex, multi-region environments.
