Insurance Sales Agent

Job Overview I'm looking for a sales agent to help build out a sales department. We're an independent insurance agency that has focused on our existing customers for years. I'm ready to build out a sales team to bring in new business. I need someone that is self motivated and understands the insurance industry. We're a personal lines focused agency with our main products being home and auto insurance. We're a very laid back and easy going office to add to it. Duties Reach out to inbound leads that the agency receives. Quote and go over proposal with prospects. Market various insurance products and services to potential customers through networking and community engagement. Negotiate policy terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction. Administer benefits and provide guidance on claims processes for clients. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and policy renewals through effective sales administration. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on their policies and address any questions or concerns. Experience 1+ years in an insurance sales position. Captive or Independent Proven track record in outside sales or retail sales is advantageous. Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and tailor solutions accordingly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
