Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Japanese‑Fluent Customer Service & Operations Specialist to join our international moving and logistics team. In this role, you will be the linchpin that connects our Japanese‑speaking clients with our on‑site moving crews, ensuring every shipment is handled with precision, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. Your responsibilities will span customer engagement, crew management, vehicle operation, and compliance oversight—all while embodying the Brighthush brand in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese‑speaking clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience from booking to delivery.
• Operations Management: Coordinate on‑site moving jobs, including packing, unpacking, palletizing, and safe transport of goods.
• Subcontractor Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage subcontractors and crew members, ensuring they meet Brighthush’s high standards of service and safety.
• Vehicle Operations: Safely operate cargo vans and 26‑ft trucks, adhering to all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Compliance & Safety: Monitor and enforce compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations, ensuring all operations are risk‑free.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—logistics, safety, HR—to streamline processes and elevate service quality.
• Travel & Flexibility: Travel once or twice a month to client sites, ensuring on‑site support and fostering strong client relationships.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in written and spoken English (reading, writing, and basic mathematics).
• Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform manual labor in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent Japanese communication skills—both verbal and written.
