About the Role
Kreative Technologies is seeking a Java Developer to build, test, and maintain features for enterprise applications. This full-time, remote position focuses on developing reliable Java code, building web services and REST APIs, working with relational databases, and supporting application quality through testing and code reviews. You’ll collaborate with other developers throughout the software development lifecycle, participate in Agile activities, and work on features from requirements through implementation with guidance from senior developers. The role is suited to someone with solid Java development experience who values clean code, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain Java application code Build and update web services and REST APIs Write SQL queries and work with relational databases Troubleshoot defects and support production issues Write unit tests to maintain code quality and reliability Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies Document code, technical changes, and relevant development activities Collaborate with team members to deliver application features Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
At least three years of Java development experience Experience with Spring or Spring Boot Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or Db2 Experience using Git and a build tool such as Maven or Gradle Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Ability to use common office equipment, including computers, phones, scanners, and printers Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms Experience supporting federal government contracts Location and Employment Type Work Arrangement: Remote Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation
