You don’t chase leads. We bring them to you and book the appointments on your calendar. Who we are Kitchen and Cabinet Store (kitchenandcabinetstore.com) sells semi-custom cabinets online, plus some RTA. We’re not a typical RTA site selling boxes at wholesale prices. We work at the upper end of online cabinet retail, with homeowners who want real design help and a kitchen that looks great. We sell cabinets only and don’t install. Why we’re building this (from Blake, our President) The way people buy kitchens is changing. More homeowners are happy to work with a company that isn’t local if it’s a better fit for what they want. Most companies in this space struggle to build trust and give a great experience from a distance because their technology is behind. Everyone’s improving, just not fast enough. We’re moving faster than anyone in the industry right now, and we’re holding a level of quality that’s hard to match. We also think designers should be able to work more like business owners and share in the upside. Employees should feel like owners. What’s different here We’ve built our own tools to make the design process fast: designs, client meetings and quotes. You also get an account on our company AI system. The goal is to handle more customers with fewer mistakes and less busywork. If you like finding a faster, cleaner way to do things, you’ll fit in. If you want to keep doing it the way you always have, this probably isn’t for you. You create kitchens that are beautiful, not just functional, and you present them in a way that wows the client. This matters more here than at most places you’ve worked. 2020 Design (required) A solid understanding of construction and remodels, not just cabinet layouts Experience designing and selling kitchens Comfortable meeting clients over video The catch There’s no base pay. This is for a designer who closes and would rather get paid on what they sell than take a capped salary. If you want a steady hourly check, this isn’t the right fit. Full-time preferred. Part-time to start is possible.
