Lead Product Manager – Visionary Reimagining of the First Customer Experience at brighthush
About brighthush
brighthush is the nation’s leading on‑demand marketplace for home services, boasting over $750 million in annual bookings. We’re on a bold mission: 1 + job per household, every year. To achieve this, we’re expanding beyond lawn care into a unified platform that serves every homeowner’s needs—from lawn maintenance to plumbing, electrical, and beyond. Our three integrated brands—brighthush, brighthush, and brighthush—share a single, powerful technology stack that powers a seamless customer journey.
Why This Role Matters
Every new homeowner’s first interaction with brighthush sets the tone for the entire relationship. Currently, our first‑service experience is a legacy flow that was built years ago. It’s long, fragmented, and losing customers at every step. We need a complete re‑imagination of this journey—one that starts with an AI‑native, agentic interface and ends with a frictionless booking that feels intuitive and personal.
As Lead Product Manager, you will own the entire first‑service experience: from the moment a visitor lands on our homepage to the moment they receive their first service. You will shape the vision, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ship a new experience that drives higher conversion, greater customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Vision & Strategy – Define a bold, customer‑centric vision for the first‑service experience that aligns with brighthush’s long‑term BHAG.
- Product Roadmap – Translate the vision into a prioritized, data‑driven roadmap that balances rapid experimentation with scalable delivery.
- AI‑Native Design – Prototype and iterate AI‑powered signup and booking flows using LLMs and conversational agents, ensuring the experience feels natural and requires minimal user input.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership – Partner with design, engineering, operations, pricing, and marketing to align on scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Data‑Driven Decision Making – Own funnel analysis, cohort studies, and A/B tests to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
- Stakeholder Management – Communicate progress, risks, and trade‑offs to senior leadership and influence key stakeholders across the organization.
- Customer Advocacy – Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and transcript reviews to surface pain points and validate solutions.
- Continuous Improvement – Iterate on the experience post‑launch, ensuring that new features are rolled out without disrupting existing customers.
