Valley Equipment Rental is an independently owned local rental company concentrating on Construction Equipment, Industrial Equipment, and homeowner equipment. Inventory is diverse with a heavy concentration in skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, forklifts, aerial lifts, dozers, rollers, and much more. We concentrate on local contractors and building long term relationships. Job Summary The Outside Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting in the service of existing Valley Equipment Rental customers and identifying new business within assigned territory while learning our business, products and customer base. The ideal candidate will be sales driven, express the desire to grow professionally and possess an interest in establishing a career in construction equipment outside sales. A successful candidate must be people-oriented, aggressive, sales driven and a team player. Duties Cold-calling and jobsite calls are required Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns Must be able to identify and build prospects and business relationships in designated territory Growing customer accounts Skills Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role Technical sales skills to analyze customer requirements and recommend solutions Strong business development and customer service skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Comes with a company vehicle, phone, and whatever you need to be successful Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Company car Dental insurance Expense account Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Location: Huntsville, AL (Required) Work Location: Remote
