Pharmacy Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Remote for a 12+ months Contract position with a client. Pay Range: $28/hr. - $35/hr. On W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Summary: The pharmacy technician will transcribe patient-specific prescription information, diagnosis information, and recommendations into a third-party, web-based application. The data to be transcribed will be either hard-copy or available from company's application. The data entered by the pharmacy technician will be used to create a standardized document that will be mailed to individual patients. Qualifications: Education/Licensing Requirements: Valid Pharmacy Technician license - provide screenshot Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience as Pharmacy Technician Understanding of pharmaceutical and medical vocabulary Experience in prescription order entry Essential Skills/Experience: Fluently speak, read, and write English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Tech Savvy Essential Characteristics: Self-directed and organized Discrete/ability to maintain confidentiality Detail-oriented Sense of urgency Essential Job Responsibilities: Accuracy and speed in entry of patient-specific prescription information, diagnosis information, and recommendations into a third-party, web-based application Additional Job Responsibilities: Attend training sessions to acquire/enhance skills related to Essential Job Responsibility If you are interested in this Pharmacy Technician role in Remote role then please click APPLY NOW.
