About the Role

EasyLlama is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead the design and optimization of its core platform experiences as the company expands across compliance training, security awareness, AI-powered course authoring, and emerging AI-native capabilities. This staff-level individual contributor role reports to the VP of Product and focuses on shaping the end-to-end platform experience rather than individual screens or isolated user flows. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify critical user challenges, simplify complex workflows, and build design systems that support customer activation, engagement, retention, and expansion. The role also involves integrating AI-driven recommendations and intelligent automation into the product, developing rapid prototypes, and using experimentation and data to guide design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Own the design of core platform experiences, including onboarding, product and content discovery, training course assignments, cross-product expansion, and AI agents that manage meaningful tasks and programs. Define interaction models for platform-level systems covering content metadata, training assignment logic, document and policy management, recertification automation, and cross-product orchestration. Translate complex platform architecture and technical workflows into intuitive, efficient, and trustworthy user experiences. Identify and simplify critical UX challenges to create a cohesive experience across EasyLlama's multiple products and capabilities. Use AI-powered design and prototyping tools, such as Lovable, v0, and Figma Make, to develop clickable MVPs rapidly and turn early concepts into development-ready specifications. Design AI-driven recommendation systems, intelligent automation, and AI agents that users can understand, trust, and use effectively. Embed AI workflows and actionable guidance throughout the product, treating AI as a foundational part of the platform experience. Partner with Product Management and Legal experts to design compliance-critical AI experiences within defined guardrails. Provide design leadership across platform initiatives and influence product decisions beyond immediate project responsibilities. Collaborate with senior management, Product Management, Engineering, and Data Analytics leaders to align design decisions with customer needs and business goals. Contribute platform-level patterns to the EasyLlama Design System in partnership with the design system owner, maintaining consistency across multiple products. Lead workshops with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, VPs, and Product Managers, to develop UX experiments and testable hypotheses. Define experiment variants and success criteria, prototype solutions, and iterate quickly based on results. Partner with Data and Analytics teams to monitor and improve course assignment rates, activation, retention, and expansion metrics. Balance rapid experimentation and measurable business outcomes with design quality and design system consistency. Required Qualifications 7+ years of product design experience working with multi-product B2B SaaS platforms. This is a mandatory requirement. Proven ability to define, communicate, and deliver measurable product outcomes related to adoption, engagement, retention, and expansion. Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, VPs, Product Managers, User Experience Research teams, and Engineering leaders, on platform-level challenges. Experience designing AI-powered product experiences and using AI design and prototyping tools such as Lovable or Figma Make. Strong systems thinking and experience designing complex, multi-surface products rather than a single standalone product. Ability to simplify complex technical workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences. Experience designing experiments with Product Managers, interpreting results, and using product usage data and user research to guide design decisions. Willingness to partner with User Research teams to incorporate customer insights, validate hypotheses, and reduce product risks. A portfolio demonstrating strong design craft and measurable business impact.
