RCM & Collections Manager

Plutonic is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Collections Manager to support our growing behavioral health practice. This role will focus on insurance follow up, denied claims, aging AR recovery, payer communication, and helping optimize collections processes as we continue scaling across multiple states and insurance networks. Seeking someone with experience in behavioral health, therapy, telehealth, or medical billing environments who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast paced startup environment. Responsibilities may include: Insurance claim follow up Denial management and appeals Aging AR collections Payment posting reconciliation Medicaid and commercial payer communication Identifying billing workflow inefficiencies Supporting scalable RCM systems and processes

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of RCM processes, including billing, insurance claim processing, and collections management. Proficiency in data analysis, financial reporting, and identifying areas for operational improvement. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage and coordinate with team members and stakeholders effectively. Experience with healthcare compliance, insurance policies, and industry standard practices. Proficiency using RCM software and familiarity with technology platforms for healthcare management. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in mental health or healthcare billing and collection is highly advantageous. Part-time or Contract / remote opportunity. Compensation $2,000 - $3,000 per month.
