About The Role We are seeking a Principal Recruiter to join our Core Recruiting team within People Success. This team is responsible for hiring across Coinbase's General & Administrative (G&A) functions. The Principal Recruiter will own the full lifecycle recruiting process for some of the most challenging and senior-level roles. This position requires partnering closely with senior leaders to deeply understand talent needs, build robust candidate pipelines, and implement process improvements that enable the recruiting team to scale effectively. This role demands a strategic, data-driven approach and the ability to innovate recruiting practices across global markets. Qualifications 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment Proven success in closing senior and hard-to-attract candidates Experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets Comprehensive knowledge of the entire candidate lifecycle, including talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing, and closing Strong data-driven approach to pipeline management with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and provide strategic recommendations Familiarity with utilizing generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency, cost, and quality while maintaining human oversight Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role intake through to offer closure for complex, senior-level searches within the Core portfolio Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines through self-sourcing and competitive research to ensure quality and depth at each recruitment stage Collaborate with senior leaders to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies and deliver an exceptional candidate and interviewer experience Drive data integrity and utilize pipeline analytics to identify bottlenecks, improve hiring velocity, and enhance outcomes for hiring teams Design, implement, and pilot recruiting processes and programs that enable the team to scale its impact across global markets Leverage generative AI tools responsibly to optimize recruiting workflows without compromising quality or human judgment
