Regional Director of Operations
Role Description The Regional Director of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing operational performance across a defined region. This position leads regional teams, sets performance goals, and ensures alignment with company standards, policies, and strategic priorities. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key operational metrics, analyzing data to identify trends, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Regional Director of Operations manages regional budgets, reviews financial reports, and partners with cross-functional leaders to support growth and resource optimization. This role also focuses on building strong team culture, coaching managers, and supporting escalated customer or operational issues to ensure consistent service delivery.
Qualifications
Operations Management experience, including oversight of multi-site or regional operations and implementation of process improvements. Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess performance metrics, and support data-informed decisions. Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment. Budgeting skills, with experience in financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation. Customer Service orientation, with a track record of maintaining service quality and resolving complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are beneficial. Experience in regional or multi-location leadership roles and familiarity with performance management tools and systems. Comfort with technology and collaboration platforms used for remote team coordination and reporting.
