[Remote] Accounts Payable Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SRI is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support full-cycle accounts payable operations within its Finance and Business Operations team. The role focuses on accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor payments, expense management, reconciliations, reporting, vendor support, and AP documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle AP operations, including the intake, distribution, and entry of invoices and payment requests
• Prepare and process the payment runs (ACH, wire, check) to ensure timely and accurate disbursements
• Reconcile vendor statements, manage AP aging reports, perform balance sheet account reconciliations, and prepare management reporting
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships while efficiently researching and resolving payment inquiries and discrepancies
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and policy documentation related to AP operations
• Partner effectively with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Vendor Maintenance, Accounting, and Operations) to resolve processing issues and streamline workflows

Skills

• The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail, strong financial acumen, a high aptitude for financial systems and technology, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or accounting operations
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint required
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Positive, service-oriented attitude with a focus on driving process improvements to increase effectiveness, accuracy, and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• SAP Ariba preferred
