[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GigUp is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to maintain organized supplier accounts and investigate invoice differences. The role focuses on invoice matching, payment preparation, supplier record updates, and accurate tracking of invoice status.

Responsibilities

• Check payment due dates and maintain an accurate invoice status tracker
• Investigate duplicate invoices and ordinary balance differences
• Record credit notes and adjustments once authorized
• Flag payment or bank-detail changes that require independent verification
• Match invoices to purchase orders or other approved supporting records
• Help prepare scheduled payments following established authorization rules
• Update supplier records when verified information changes

Skills

• Understanding of basic invoices, credits, and payment terms
• Organized handling of multiple invoice due dates
