[Remote] AI Engineer

The AI Engineer role is for engineers who build and deploy LLM-powered agents and products using tools, evaluations, retrieval, observability, and strong software engineering practices.

Skills

• You've shipped something LLM-powered that real people used, at work or on your own
• You know the difference between a wrapper and a system, because you've had to fix the wrapper
• You keep up. New models, new patterns, new tooling, weekly
• Your agent work sits on real engineering fundamentals, and interviews confirm it
• Production LLM integration: tool-calling, RAG, evals, observability
• Strong software fundamentals in TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Shipped agentic products or serious agentic side projects
• Experience at a startup or high-bar engineering org is a plus
