Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Perficient is seeking an AI Engineer with Databricks expertise to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions. The role focuses on building data and ML pipelines, implementing MLOps, developing RAG and LLM applications, and optimizing AI workloads in collaboration with business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using Databricks
- Develop scalable data and ML pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake
- Implement MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD
- Design and develop RAG-based and LLM-powered applications
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into AI solutions
- Optimize AI workloads for performance, scalability, and reliability
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark
- Experience with MLflow, Delta Lake, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and model lifecycle management
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure OpenAI
- Familiarity with LangChain, Databricks Mosaic AI, and Vector Search
- Databricks certifications preferred
- Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills
