Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Southwire Company is hiring a senior technical analyst to develop and maintain database solutions and support data systems for electric distribution and transmission. The role focuses on PL/SQL development, SQL database architecture, data modeling, integration, performance optimization, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL code for various applications using GIT version control
- Design and implement SQL database architectures
- Model and manage customer specific data for Electronic Distribution or Electric Transmission systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from GIS, Outage Management Systems, AMI, Work Management, and Asset Management Systems
- Analyze and optimize database performance
- Understand, Interpret and Utilize data from Utilities related to GIS, Outage Management Systems, AMI, Work Management, Asset Management and Inspection Data
- Leadership and mentoring skills with junior team members
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8-11 years of Experience
- Strong experience in PL/SQL programming
- Strong experience in SQL Database Architecture
- Strong data modeling skills
- Power BI development experience
- At least 5 years of experience with Electric Distribution or Electric Transmission system data
