Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BISOFT Consultancy Services LLC is seeking a GIS Specialist to administer ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise environments. The role focuses on GIS data and service management, web mapping and application configuration, accessibility, troubleshooting, and delivery of GIS projects from discovery through customer acceptance.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online administration, web mapping, and cartography
- 4+ years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise administration and ArcGIS Server management
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Survey123, Field Maps, and ArcGIS Experience Builder
- 3+ years of experience with Python and/or Arcade scripting
- Experience publishing hosted and referenced services on federated and non-federated GIS servers
- Strong understanding of GIS data management, metadata creation, service publishing, and web application configuration
- Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot ArcGIS applications and technical issues
- Experience gathering requirements and delivering GIS projects from initial discovery through customer acceptance
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG and ADA compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate non-GIS business needs into GIS solutions
- Strong customer-service orientation and ability to support users across varying technical skill levels
- Experience supporting large, multi-user ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise environments
- Experience conducting accessibility audits and implementing remediation for public-facing GIS applications
- Familiarity with dashboard development, web experience configuration, and geospatial workflow automation
- Experience creating technical documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Experience working in government, transportation, public-sector, or enterprise GIS environments
