The role focuses on APIs, sync and storage systems, reliability, scalability, developer tools, and MCP integration.

Responsibilities

Design and build APIs, sync and storage systems
Own reliability, performance and scalability
Build the developer platform and MCP integration
Collaborate across product teams
Improve observability and tooling

Skills

5+ years building backend / distributed systems
Strong in a systems language (Go, Rust or similar)
Pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset
Comfortable in a remote, async team
Experience with sync, CRDTs or real-time a plus
