[Remote] Business Analyst 3

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Randstad Digital Americas is recruiting a senior-level Business Analyst to support complex reporting projects involving Mainframe Reports. The role focuses on requirements and process analysis, data quality and flow analysis, report development and data publishing using Power BI and Snowflake, and user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Employ multiple methods to elicit, analyze, develop, and document business, technical, and reporting requirements
• Review, assess, refine, and develop current and future-state business processes
• Conduct in-depth data analysis, trace data lineage, identify root causes of data errors, and document end-to-end data flows
• Develop and enhance reports and dashboards utilizing tools like Power BI and Snowflake to support the Mainframe Reports and Extract initiative
• Coordinate and execute data posting and publishing to the DIR Open Data Portal and the agency public website
• Create, coordinate, and validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and test cases
• Ensure all deliverables and project materials follow established processes, maintain consistent quality, and adhere to industry-standard business analysis methodologies
• Provide research and specialized project assistance to end-users and project stakeholders
• Potentially assign, oversee, and supervise the work of other team members while operating with considerable latitude and independent judgment

Skills

• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written/verbal/ presentation communication skills in English
• Experience in gathering requirements and creating reports
• Facilitating creation and analysis of business requirements and working with business area personnel to design technical solutions
• Participating in and providing guidance to business and in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities
• Experience with Snowflake and Power BI
• Experience in Oil and Gas industry
