Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vanguard Search Partners is recruiting for an unnamed solar and storage platform backed by a Tier 1 infrastructure investor. The President & Chief Operating Officer will lead the operating organization alongside the CEO, oversee the development and performance of the company’s multi-gigawatt U.S. portfolio, and build the leadership team and operating model as the platform scales.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operations across construction delivery, engineering, procurement and asset management
- Leading and building a senior team of VP and Director-level leaders
- Procurement and supply chain strategy, including tariff, domestic content and FEOC exposure
- Fleet performance, O&M and long-term asset value
- Operating model, structure and hiring plan as the platform scales
- Partnering with the CEO, board and investors on strategy and performance
Skills
- Currently a COO, President or SVP at a U.S. solar, storage or wider renewables developer, IPP, owner-operator or EPC
- Full P&L ownership and a track record of scaling an organisation through a growth phase
- Experience leading multiple functions through VP-level leaders
- Board and investor-facing experience, with credibility with lenders
- Working knowledge of U.S. interconnection, policy and supply chain
