[Remote] Content & Communication Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Firstbeat Technologies is hiring a Content & Communications Manager to create and distribute content that engages professional sports coaches and sports performance professionals. The role covers storytelling across marketing channels, webinars and multimedia, AI-supported content workflows, and contributions to PR and broader marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality content across our channels: articles, customer stories, social media, newsletters and campaigns
• Work directly with coaches, customers and sports performance professionals to uncover stories, topics and insights
• Plan and deliver webinars, from identifying relevant topics and engaging speakers to coordinating production, promoting the events and repurposing the content afterward
• Develop how Firstbeat uses AI in content creation and marketing, including workflows, tools and new ways of producing and repurposing content
• Contribute to PR and media activities as part of the broader marketing team
• Identify partners, speakers and collaborators, and represent Firstbeat externally when needed
• Create video and other multimedia content, working with internal and external resources as needed
• Contribute to marketing more broadly when needed

Skills

• An excellent writer and storyteller
• Exceptional English writing and communication skills, at native or equivalent professional level
• A strong understanding of professional sports
• You know the terminology and the environment coaches work in, and you recognize what makes a topic relevant to them. You can have a credible conversation with a coach
• This understanding may come from professional experience, coaching, playing or other meaningful involvement in team sports
• An AI-native way of working
• You use AI as a genuine part of your everyday work
• The ability to approach people and make things happen
• You're proactive and sociable, you're comfortable interviewing and building relationships, and you can take an idea through to execution on your own
• Solid professional experience in content, communications or marketing
• Ideally, have built AI-supported content workflows or processes
