Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Five Star Solutions is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support customers with natural gas utility accounts. The role assists with billing, payments, account information, and related concerns while providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions regarding their natural gas bills and account balances
- Process and assist with customer payments
- Research and resolve account-related issues
- Explain billing information, charges, and payment options clearly
- Update and maintain accurate customer account information
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Follow established procedures and privacy requirements
- Document customer interactions accurately
- Escalate issues when additional assistance or authorization is required
- Provide excellent customer service on every interaction
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with billing and account information
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
- Professional and empathetic approach to customer concerns
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable handling potentially difficult customer interactions
- Must be comfortable cross training on other accounts
- 1 year Previous customer service, call center, or office experience preferred
